Aetherflux has raised $50 million in Series A funding to advance its mission of delivering solar power from space. Backed by Index Ventures, Interlagos, Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz, and NEA, the company is preparing for a 2026 low Earth orbit (LEO) demonstration and has been awarded its first U.S. government funding to support defense energy needs.
