Blockchain Meets the Big Screen: DCP/Arts3 Shine at Locarno and HollyShorts

DeFiance Daily – Decentralized Pictures (DCP) and Arts3 made waves this month at two major festivals, proving blockchain is no longer just for finance—it’s shaping the future of film. At Locarno, DCP backed the world premiere of Legend of the Happy Worker, directed by Duwayne Dunham and executive-produced by the late David Lynch, while at HollyShorts in Los Angeles, USC students premiered Holy Smokes, a Kevin Smith–supported comedy short born from DCP’s blockchain-powered selection process.
