Texas-based genetic engineering company Colossal Biosciences has secured $200 million in Series C funding, bringing its total investment to $435 million. The company, co-founded by Ben Lamm and George Church, aims to resurrect the dodo, woolly mammoth, and Tasmanian tiger using advanced CRISPR gene-editing technology. With a $10.2 billion valuation, Colossal continues to push the boundaries of de-extinction science.
