Consumers Energy and Young Volunteers Release Rescued Turtles Back into the Wild

Consumers Energy, with help from young volunteers and collaboration from Herpetological Resource and Management and Sea Life Michigan Aquarium, reintroduced two dozen turtles into their natural habitat in rural Ingham County as part of their commitment to sustainable construction and wildlife protection. The turtles were incubated and nurtured from eggs rescued during the company’s Mid-Michigan Pipeline Project.
