Flare Network Ignites XRP DeFi Boom With FXRP Launch

DeFiance Daily – Flare Network is experiencing rapid growth following the launch of FXRP, a trustless wrapped version of XRP that lets holders finally tap into decentralized finance. Since debuting on September 24, total value locked on Flare has climbed nearly 38%, with more than $86 million in XRP bridged to the network. The milestone marks the rise of “XRPFi,” a new on-chain economy where XRP holders can lend, trade, and earn yield without giving up custody of their assets. “This is a turning point for the XRP ecosystem,” said Flare Co-founder Hugo Philion, highlighting how FXRP unlocks previously untapped liquidity and utility for millions of XRP users.
