Polygon to Launch MATIC to POL Upgrade on September 4th – Draper Decentralized – 8.29.24

Polygon will upgrade from MATIC to POL on September 4th, making POL the new gas and staking token for the Polygon Proof-of-Stake network. MATIC holders on Polygon PoS won’t need to take any action, while those on other platforms may need to migrate their tokens.
