SEC Unveils Project Crypto to Move Capital Markets On-Chain

DeFiance Daily – SEC Chairman Paul Atkins says the agency is taking major steps to modernize U.S. securities markets for the blockchain era. Speaking at the Economic Club of New York, Atkins unveiled Project Crypto, outlined a new digital asset taxonomy, and previewed an innovation exemption aimed at accelerating compliant tokenized securities.
