U.S. Seizes $14 Billion in Bitcoin, Now World’s Largest Government Holder

DeFiance Daily – The U.S. Department of Justice and Treasury have announced the largest crypto forfeiture in history: 127,271 bitcoin, worth about $14 billion, seized from Cambodia’s Prince Group and its chairman Chen Zhi. The coordinated sting dismantled a human-trafficking-linked crypto scam empire and vaulted the U.S. into a new position—now holding roughly 324,000 BTC, more than any nation or corporation on earth.
