Yagub Alserkal narrates his journey from being a top student in mechanical engineering to realizing he3 was not passionate about it. He decided to switch to finance and marketing, eventually starting work at Deutsche Bank in Dubai. Yagub later met a like-minded individual and together they began advising startups, eventually setting up a VC fund, U.S. Investments. Today, they have three platforms focusing on family-oriented investments, advisory, and funds, with a vision of making impactful investments in edtech, health tech, and other sectors that can benefit the world.
