Linda Curtis: Championing the League of Independent Voters of Texas
Linda Curtis, a veteran of independent political movements, has been involved in various independent initiatives since the age of 28. From Lenora Fulani’s 1988 presidential campaign to Ross Perot’s Reform Party, she has dedicated herself to breaking down barriers for independent candidates and parties. In 2013, Curtis helped form the League of Independent Voters, a nonprofit advocacy organization aimed at empowering independent voters in America. The League seeks to provide tools to voters to self-identify and engage in grassroots efforts to build the independent movement. Curtis believes that finding innovative ways to unite independent voters will lead to significant reforms in American politics.
