• Joel engaged with someone he didn’t know on Discord who claimed to be a mod from the NFT group he was in.
• The individual screenshot Joel’s alleged spam post and claimed that he was banned from the group, leading to Joel’s removal from the group.
• The attacker directed Joel to a fake Discord server and prompted him to verify his wallet address through a collab land verify, alerting the attacker through his phone’s Ethereum app.
• The attacker then attempted to wipe Joel’s wallet using 37 pending transactions.
